The Selected Mentees 2015

One Weekend, Thirty Ideas, Six Tandems

The Forecast Forum: Ruminations on the anthropocene meet research on photographic techniques. Considerations of moss as a design object encounter reflections on the music scene in Palestine. Over the course of three days, the Forecast Forum offered audiences live presentations by 30 talents from the fields of design, art, architecture and science and created a common space for exchange and networking, and for discussing current questions and ideas.
But the preparations began much earlier. The talents spent one whole week in advance of the Forum refining their project ideas with the mentors and their fellow participants. On Sunday evening, the Forecast Forum then came to a close. The six mentors announced the projects they will accompany in their further development until the Forecast Festival.
