The project explores how to digitally manipulate the kulintang to generate new forms, continuing Ileto’s interest in creating harmonic and rhythmic systems within non-Western musical ecologies, blending Filipino rhythms with electronic music production.
In late January 2026, Corin Ileto and her mentor, Ata, will be hosted by CTM for a condensed work-stay to further develop the project, followed by a public performance.
The final production will be unveiled at the Forecast Festival, in March 2026.
