  • Outline your project proposal. Be concise and direct (1400 characters max., incl. spaces).
  • Describe what you are hoping to achieve and how you want to do it. Consider a form in which you can present your idea within the Forecast Forum in July 2020, and a realization at the concluding Forecast Festival in April 2021. Highlight the core questions you’d like to discuss with the intended mentor and your expectations of the mentoring process. Feel free to include pictures and/or links to sound, video, or other media files. Please upload your concept as a PDF (max. 12MB).

  • Describe three moments in your life that have been of special importance to you (600 characters max., incl. spaces).
  • If you are chosen, you will take part in a work-stay with your mentor at a partner institution. The institutions are selected according to their relevance to your work and interests. Please suggest 1-3 international institutions that are relevant for you, or beneficial to the completion of your project. (This field is optional.) If you are selected by the mentor, Forecast will aim to accommodate your choices as much as possible.
  • Basic information

  • Each Forecast mentor will decide individually which applicants participate at the Forecast Forum, and later at the Festival. All decisions are final. All applicants will receive notification of the decisions on or before April 22, 2020. As selected participant of the Forecast Forum in July 2020, your travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed (depending on actual costs, and according to the German Travel Expenses Act/Bundesreisekostengesetz). If selected for the mentoring phase and the subsequent Forecast Festival in April 2021, you will also receive an artist fee and production budget for the realization of your project.
