Forecast 11: Open Call

Artistic practitioners and cultural producers working in all creative fields, anywhere in the world, are encouraged to apply to Forecast’s international mentorship program and festival with projects that could benefit from the expertise of one of this edition’s mentors and their unique approach to material and knowledge production. The call is open to applicants of all ages and does not prescribe a theme. The program’s only requirement is to submit projects that are relevant to the expertise of the mentor with whom you wish to work.

Forecast 11: Nominees Announced

The six mentors of Forecast’s 11th edition will review all proposals and invite three nominees each to workshop and present their ideas at the Forecast Festival in Berlin. The nominee announcement marks the beginning of a new edition of Forecast.

April to July

July 16–19, 2026
Forecast Festival

All 18 nominees will be invited to Berlin to workshop their project proposals from July 12, with public showcases taking place from July 16-19.

August 2026
Mentees Announced

Following the Festival, each mentor selects one project to accompany to fruition. The six mentees receive extended mentoring including a short-term residency, in which mentor and mentee meet in person for concrete fine-tuning, usually with a host institution. At the end of this phase, mentees premiere their final productions.
