July 18–20

Join the Forecast Forum from July 18–20 in Berlin for a weekend of bold ideas and immersive experiences by visionary creatives from all over the world.

Across three days, the Forum features a vibrant program of performances, installations, and interactive events throughout the venue.

As Forecast marks its tenth anniversary edition, for the first time an alumna of the program serves as a mentor—Lulu Obermayer, who participated in Forecast 5. To celebrate this milestone, the Forum will open on Friday night with performances by her three mentorship nominees.

Out of over 1,000 submissions, each of the six mentors has invited three creative practitioners to develop and showcase their concepts in Berlin. At the Forum’s close, each mentor will select one mentee. These six chosen projects will then be developed further and premiered at the Forecast Festival in March 2026.

Get to Know Forecast Condensed!

An Adaptive and Responsive Format
Forecast Condensed can take place anywhere in the world, anytime, with any local partners.

With this format, Forecast's methodology—honed over a decade of mentoring and facilitating creative projects—is condensed into a one-day session, offering practitioners and thinkers from a wide range of disciplines the opportunity to examine projects and enhance their applicability with advice and feedback from a panel of mentors.

Forecast Condensed has taken place in different locations, from Brazil to Rwanda, and with partners such as the Lisbon Architecture Triennale, Goethe Institut, Berlin Science Week, and more.

In 2024, Forecast Condensed alighted in Istanbul, partnering with Salt on an open call for creative practitioners whose projects center on planetary well-being.

At the end of each Forecast Mentorships edition, we release a publication—and we're thrilled to share the latest from Edition 9!

Alongside the final projects, we invited six experts to reflect on each of the proposals.

"Getting in Tune with Ecological Entities" is an interview by writer and editor Pablo Larios on Camil Navarro’s sound project Ecological Assemblages.

"What could a sonic experience of a dried-up landscape sound like? And what form can a physical performance on ecological topics take on? Through somatic practices that produce sounds and cause the performer’s body to dehydrate, Camil Navarro connects her own body to the drying-up of a river in Chile that can no longer be seen, yet whose underground streams are still audible."
