Each Forecast mentor will decide individually which applicants participate at the Forecast Festival. All decisions are final. All applicants will receive notification of the decisions on or before April 15, 2026. As selected participant of the Forecast Festival in July 2026, travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed (depending on actual costs, and according to the German Travel Expenses Act/Bundesreisekostengesetz) and you will receive an artist fee. If selected for the subsequent individual mentoring phase you will also receive an artist fee and production budget for the realization of your project. In case a collective is admitted as one nominee, or later on as a mentee, Forecast does not guarantee to grant travel costs to more than one person, and the overall budget for the intended project will not be higher than that for projects submitted by a single person.
